SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Two more program records were broken on Friday, with Manuela Mendolicchio breaking her own record in the 100 Breaststroke, as the 'Dogs competed in San Antonio on day three of the MW Championship.

Fresno State is 10th in the overall standings but some of its best swimming events as well as platform diving will take place on the final day of competition on Saturday.

Swimming Highlights
- The 'Dogs began the night in record-breaking fashion in the 400 medley relay. The Fresno State quartet of Ugne Mazutaityte, Mendolicchio, Zofia Niemczak, and Osianna Mcreed finished in 3:41.56, breaking the previous program record of 3:43.22 set in 2015. The 'Dogs placed sixth overall in the race.
- Mendolicchio qualified for the A final in the 100 Breast in 1:02.06, breaking her previous school record time of 1:02.62 set last season. She topped that time in the final, touching at 1:02.02 to finish sixth.
- Niemczak and Kimberly Harbert both narrowly missed the A final in the 100 Butterfly. Harbert ended up winning the B final with a time of 54.65 and Niemczak was 4th in the B final and in 12th place overall.
- Lucy Davies had a PR and team season-best in the 400 IM, qualifying for the B final with a prelim time of 4:23.90. She placed 12th overall while freshman Darina Khisiamova made the C final and finished 18th overall.
- Mazutaityte made the B final in the 100 Backstroke, touching in 54.93, and was 8th in the B final.
- Emma Monnich had a team season-best time of 1:51.62 in the 200 Freestyle and senior Katelin Britton touched in a career-best 1:52.37.Â
- No diving events took place on Friday as the platform competition will be held on Saturday.

What's Next
- The final day of the MW Championship features some of the 'Dogs best events, including the 200 Backstroke in which Mazutaityte will be swimming for her third straight title. Prelims on begin at 9 a.m. Pacific time and finals get underway at 4:30 p.m. Pacific.
