FRESNO, Calif. – Closing the game on a 13-2 run, UNLV ended Fresno State's 10-game home winning streak on Wednesday night, 73-58. The Lady Rebels used their superior height advantage to hold a decisive 42-22 edge on the glass to control the contest.
Candice White continued her impressive play with a 28-point performance. The junior was 10-of-17 from the floor overall and 4-of-6 from downtown. White also grabbed a team-high six rebounds. The guard was the lone Bulldogs in double figures though as four Lady Rebels' starters finished with at least 14 points, led by Paris Strawther who had 16.

QUOTES
Head Coach Jaime White on facing UNLV…
"It is obvious that we are playing small but we tried everything tonight. The ball didn't fall like we needed it to and we missed some shots. I felt like we took shots that we generally make and we just weren't able to connect. We didn't take advantage in certain situations tonight."
On Candice White against the Rebels…
"Obviously she played well. She had to because I didn't think we were as confident on the perimeter. I think Maddi Utti didn't score the way she usually does, but she was in there with a few big kids. You want to make a game like this a good game and battle and do the best you can and whoever is better wins. It didn't feel like we were even close to playing like ourselves tonight."
On UNLV's defense…
"I thought they denied Candice really well. She wasn't able to get open...I just didn't think overall we were as aggressive as we needed to be."
On facing Wyoming on Saturday…
"They shoot the three just as well as UNLV shoots inside. We are going to have to defend it and make sure we contest everything. Our team is going to have to play a little harder against Wyoming than they did tonight."
