Mountain West releases 2018 football schedule

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Fresno State football team learned its 2018 Mountain West conference schedule on Thursday, as announced by the league office. This edition faces the 'Dogs with four of their first six conference games on the road before closing the season at home with back-to-back games against San Diego State and San Jose State.

It must be noted that Thursday's release represents the first phase in the 2018 football schedule process and games can still move to Thursdays or Fridays, but the week-of schedule is locked in.

Mountain West national television partners CBS Sports Network and ESPN will now initiate a selection procedure which will include the shifting of particular games. That will be followed by the identification of network outlets and kick times, along with the picks for regional partner AT&T SportsNet, Stadium and Spectrum Sports (Hawai'i).

The 2018 season marks the second year of the four-year cycle of MW conference games, therefore the Bulldogs' MW schedule will mirror 2017, but with the host-site flipped for all eight opponents. Years three and four of the cycle will pit the 'Dogs against Mountain Division opponents Air Force, Colorado State and Utah State while continuing to play each opponent in the West Division.

The 2018 schedule will play out over 14 weeks, concluding on Sat., Dec. 1 with the Mountain West Football Championship Game featuring the two divisional champions. This season, every contest played on the final weekend before the MW Championship game will each be intra-division contests. The final weekend of cross-division match ups will be the weekend of Nov. 10.
Bulldog Pass
The Bulldog Pass is available to current Fresno State Faculty and Staff along with Young Alumni who have graduated over the last 10 years from 2009 to Spring of 2018.
The pass is only $79 and provides mobile tickets for all six home football game. Fans interested in the pass will need an iPhone or Android phone in order receive game tickets.Â
Seat locations are determined approximately 48 hours prior to each home game, so pass holders will not be sitting in the same location for each game.
