DAY NINE (Aug. 13)
From the words of Breanne Knishka...
On the third and final day in Paris we finally got to go up the Eiffel Tower! As we got closer and closer to the tower it just got bigger and bigger. There were a lot of people out that day and the wind was strong! We went up the elevator to the second and third floor to take lots of pictures and enjoy the view of Paris. Then we got a lot of free time in the streets where we all got souvenirs for friends and family and reminisced on our bittersweet last day. Paris was amazing! I'm so glad we were able to go and I for sure will be back.
DAY EIGHT (Aug. 12)
From the words of Breanne Knishka...
The second day in Paris was game day! We started the day off by touring the Lourve where we put headphones in and listened to our guide educate us on the Medieval times, Greek gods, the Virgin Mary and so much more. Some highlights that I got from that tour was seeing the Mona Lisa, which was smaller than I thought it was going to be, as well as the amazing ceilings that were in the Lourve royal palace. I was impressed by how much detail went into it and I have no idea how they could have done that art work so high up on the ceilings.
After the Lourve we got ready for the game and went to our pregame meal which worked out because we won! After the game we went to our postgame meal with the boosters and everyone that came with us on the trip. Then to top off the night, we went to watch the light show at the Eiffel Tower which was so pretty.
Bulldogs sweep European Tour with 75-53 win over Paris All-Stars
FRANCONVILLE, France – With a 75-53 win over Paris All-Stars, the Fresno State women's basketball team closed out its European Tour schedule on Saturday evening with its third win in as many games. Again, it was about balance for the Bulldogs as six players scored at least seven points.
Â
The inside presence of Maddi Utti and Genna Ogier was a key factor in Fresno State's play for the third straight game as the sophomores combined for 23 points and 13 rebounds. Utti posted team highs of 14 points and seven rebounds. Ogier added nine points and six rebounds to go with three steals. Along with Ogier, Kristina Cavey and Breanne Knishka also dropped in nine points. Knshika hit three of the team's seven 3-pointers on the night.

DAYÂ SEVEN (Aug. 11)
From the words of Breanne Knishka...
After our last night in Switzerland, we woke up early to catch the fast train to Paris. At our destination we met up with our tour guide Trish and also Lydia's family came and joined our group. We then all piled up on the bus and headed to Notre Dame to take pictures and have lunch. The Notre Dame was breathe taking because of the massively detailed structure and the huge line of tourists waiting to go inside. Then during lunch Saraya and Genna experienced eating snails for the first time and said they liked it!
Up next was the bike tour which was my favorite part of the trip so far. We would stop and learn about the history of Paris, take pictures, eat ice cream and watch Katelin try not to crash her bike into anything or anyone. After being exhausted we bused to our hotel which is right across the street from the enormous Pantheon. To end our first day we bused across Paris, then had to walk 20 minutes uphill for dinner. The walk was long and we were hungry, however, it was worth it because after dinner, and before we went back down the hill, we had an amazing view overlooking all of Paris. And wow it was amazing!
Â
DAYÂ SIX (Aug. 10)
From the words of Raven Johnson...
Our in Switzerland, what a way to go! We took a morning boat ride to Yvoire, France. Such a beautiful view. The water was gorgeous. At Yvoire we enjoyed phenomenal crepes and walked the town. All the cute little shops and ducks by the water were something to remember. We all got a little of Yvoire in our pockets!
DAY FIVE (Aug. 9)
From the words of Raven Johnson...
Today, our second day in Switzerland, the team began the day with a new experience for everyone! We rode a cable car all the way up a mountain to enjoy an incredible view together. Despite the weather, we all embraced the experience and had fun. We had a great shootaround and a bunch of us swished our half-court shorts at the end! After a delicious pregame meal , we headed back to the hotel to relax before our game at 8 p.m. We an athletic and aggressive team and came out with the win!

Â

DAY FOUR (Aug. 8)
From the words of Raven Johnson...
Our first day in Geneva, Switzerland! After a long bus ride, the team was super excited for our scavenger hunt throughout the city that was planned for us. This was an experience that we thought we would never be able to have. As a team, we traveled around the city on foot and discovered things about the city and about our teammates. We bonded more as a group and learned a lot about one another. Today was an adventure for the books! I can't want to see what else Geneva has in store for us.
DAYÂ THREE (Aug. 7)
From the words of Candice White...
Our third day in Italy we took a ferry to Bellagio and the sight of the mountains and the lakeside homes were incredible! Bellagio was very different from Como but it was so authentic and unique. When I was was there I felt as if I was in the Lizzie McGuire movie that took place in Italy. Small cars and Vespas were going through the small streets with people all around. I didn't want to leave Italy because it was so beautiful but one day I will definitely go back!
DAY TWO (Aug. 6)

From the words of Candice White...
The second day of Italy was another fun-filled day. We played a Serbian team and it was definitely a different experience. The European style of play was more physical than the American game but slower. My favorite part was eating dinner together with the Serbian team we played. Getting to talk to them and hear about how things are done differently in their own country was very interesting. It was just really nice to hear about their stories and learn more about them over dinner.
Bulldogs run away with 50-point win to open European Tour
SARONNO, Italy – On a hot, humid night in Saronno, Fresno State turned a 17-point halftime lead into a 50-point rout over Serbian side KZKK Radnicki, 95-45, in Game One of its European Tour. The Bulldogs' sophomore quartet each reached double figures which included an all-around effort from Genna Ogier who posted 11 points, 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block.
Â
The Australian forward was joined in double figures by fellow post player Maddi Utti who had a team-high 12 points to go with nine rebounds. Bree Delaney also scored 11 points and Aly Gamez chipped in nine. Four other Bulldogs just missed double figures with Jordanna Porter and Saraya Smith at nine while Kristina Cavey and Candice White each had eight.

From the words of Candice White...
The plane ride to Italy was long, tiring and a little uncomfortable but it was definitely worth it once we started our first tour of the trip in Milan! We got to see the beautiful Duomo de Milano (Milan Cathedral) Catholic Church. It took over 600 years to build which was one thing I could not wrap my head around! It was so majestic, surreal and the detail of the church was incredibly intricate.
Â
I had my first slice of authentic Italian pizza and strawberry cheesecake while in Milan. They were both very delicious to say the least. We then bused to Como from Milan. The view from my hotel room was WONDERFUL! At night in Como, it was something so opposite of what I am used to seeing in the States. As a few of my teammates and I were walking through the streets, Genna  brought to our attention that our surroundings were so busy and filled with a lot of people wherever we looked, yet it was quiet at the same time. It was not busy and loud like in the States, but rather busy and quiet.
Â
Before actually experiencing it, I would have thought that walking the streets of Como at night would be just another activity that I am used to do doing, but instead it was such an enjoyable experience, one that I will never forget.
