’Dogs host Dominican in exhibition

Tickets for Wednesday night’s exhibition are $7 for adults and $5 for youth at the Save Mart Center Box Office. Tip off is set for 7 p.m. PT.
FRESNO, Calif. --- The Fresno State men's basketball team will host Dominican University of California in an exhibition contest on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. PT at the Save Mart Center.
Fresno State went 23-9 last season with head coach Justin Hutson earning 2018-19 Joe B. Hall National Coach of the Year honors for the best record of all first-time Division I head coaches.
Hutson, a Bakersfield native, is now entering his second season back home in the Valley leading the Bulldogs' program, which opens the 2019-20 regular season at No. 15 Oregon on Nov. 5 for the first of three games against Preseason AP Top 25 teams in the first 33 days of the season.
Tickets for Wednesday night's exhibition contest between the Bulldogs and Penguins are available for $7 for adults and $5 for youth (ages 2-17) at the Save Mart Center Box Office and www.ticketmaster.com. The match-up will also be broadcast exclusively on 940 AM ESPN Radio with Paul Loeffler and Marc Q. Jones on the call.
Doors to the Save Mart Center will open on Wednesday at 6 p.m. PT and youth (ages 2-17) are invited to "Trick or Treat" from 6 to 7 p.m. PT.
There will be five candy stations, with Fresno State's mascot TimeOut handing out candy at the marketing table inside the main northwest entrance, spirit leaders also nearby on the north and west concourses and two additional stations on the east and west side of court level. Costumes are optional.
4 for $44 offer for Nov. 10 opener
A special 4 for $44 offer, which includes four Nov. 10 game tickets in Section 125, four hot dogs and four sodas, is on sale now online only for a limited time through the Bulldog Ticket Office.
The package represents a savings of over 50 percent off the full value of the exclusive option and will be mailed to those who purchase by Oct. 31. Tickets and vouchers will be available at will call inside to the right at the northwest entrance at the Save Mart Center for those purchasing on Nov. 1 or later.
Saturday + SDSU 6-Game Mini-Plan on Sale
During Mountain West play, Fresno State will have five home conference games on Saturdays.
A 6-game mini-plan, which includes all five of those Saturday games plus the Bulldogs' Jan. 14 home game versus San Diego State, is on sale now starting at $78 for adult baseline tickets ($60 for youth) by calling 559-278-3647, visiting the Bulldog Ticket Office and online at www.GoBulldogs.com.
The 2020 Mountain West Men's Basketball Championship begins Wednesday, March 4, and will conclude on Saturday, March 7. The first round will air on the MWN, while the quarterfinal and semifinal games will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. The 2020 championship game is set for Saturday, March 7, at 2:30 p.m. PT on CBS. Fresno State is the only program to earn a MW Tournament first-round bye in each of the past five seasons. All-session tournament tickets can be reserved now through the Bulldog Ticket Office.
