LAS VEGAS – The Fresno State women's lacrosse team jumped to 3-0 on the season for the second time in program history on Sunday, blowing past Oregon, 18-10, in a neutral site game at Canyon Springs High School in Las Vegas. The win marked the team's second consecutive win over a Pac-12 opponent, the first time the 'Dogs have defeated two Pac-12 schools in a single season in program history.

The junior attacking duo of Jordyn Pandolfo and Tiffiny Wallace led the Bulldogs' scoring effort, netting four goals each. On the defensive end, Pandolfo scooped a pair of ground balls and won six draw controls, while sophomore midfielder Abbigayle Roberts came away with a career high four ground balls and caused a turnover.

"We talked in the locker room before the game about how important each individual moment would be in our game versus Oregon and how we need to win together, which is exactly what we did," said coach Jessica Giglio. "We also had a fun time playing Bulldog lacrosse and bringing NCAA Division 1 women's lacrosse games to Las Vegas. We are looking forward to continuing to build and get better each day throughout this season."

Pandolfo, Wallace, Roberts, Hannah Krats, Kayla Galet, Marina Mayo, Ryleigh Bone, Olivia Mannon, Alex Romanowski, Sydney Skalstad and Kayle Kaesbauer chalked the start for Fresno State, with Laurel Maunder guarding the net.

FIRST HALF
Fresno State leaped ahead to a two-goal lead in the early minutes with Wallace starting things off and Skalstad finding the back of the net to follow on the assist from Wallace. Oregon came right back minutes later, scoring back-to-back goals to even the score.

The 'Dogs kept the pedal to the metal, taking control of the game from the moment Krats fired one home to put Fresno State up, 3-2. Three consecutive Bulldog goals proceeded the goal from Krats as Mayo took advantage of a free position opportunity and Pandolfo netted two straight off the sticks of Wallace and Krats to take a 6-2 lead.

The Ducks did get one back, but would not score another goal for the remainder of the half as the Bulldog defense clamped down. Meanwhile, the Fresno State continued to pour it on, scoring six consecutive goals to close out the half. Over Oregon's 13 minute scoring drought, Wallace and Pandolfo would each find the back of the net once, giving Pandolfo a first half hat trick, while Bone and Galet would each fire two goals straight to give Fresno State a commanding 12-3 lead at the half.

SECOND HALF
Oregon opened the second half on the right foot with a goal, but a Tiffiny Wallace hat trick and another goal from Skalstad, both off the stick of Pandolfo, would create more separation for the 'Dogs.

The Ducks inched closer with a pair of goals, but Mayo found the back of the net for the second time on the day in response.

Oregon then added another pair of goals to close the gap to seven, but Fresno State would counter harder with three goals of its own. Pandolfo would net the first and her fourth goal of the game, giving Wallace her fourth assist of the day. Wallace herself would power one in after for her fourth on the day, followed by Bone earning a hat trick of her own to keep the Ducks out of reach, trailing 18-8.

Oregon would add two more goals to close out the game, but the comeback effort would prove to come up short. Fresno State finished the game on top, 18-10, for its largest margin of victory this season.

NOTABLE STATS
Fresno State had the advantage in all major stat categories outside of winning two fewer draw controls, most notably firing nine more shots (43-34) with seven more on goal (35-28) and forcing four more turnovers (10-14).

Wallace dished out four assists to tie her career high mark of eight points for the third time, keeping her in second for most points in a single game in Bulldog history. Those four assists also place her tied for second in Fresno State history in assists in a single game. The Sandy, Utah, native now leads the team in points with 13 on the season.
