FRESNO, Calif. -- Fresno State dropped its third match of the season to a ranked opponent, falling 4-1 to No. 44 Utah on Tuesday at Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.

The Bulldogs picked up two wins on the day. The first came in doubles where Jennifer Timotin and Shir Azran handed Emily Dush and Lindsay Hung a 6-2 defeat. The other came in singles as A.C. Hummel picked up a 6-3, 6-0 result over Whitney Hekking at the No. 5 position.

Fresno State will host No. 36 Washington State on Wednesday at 1 p.m. PT at Wathen Tennis Center.
