Bulldogs' season continues in WNIT on Wednesday at Save Mart Center

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's basketball team will host Pacific on March 20 in the first round of the 2019 Women's National Invitation Tournament, the committee announced Monday evening. Tipoff at the Save Mart Center on Wednesday will be at 7 p.m., PT.
Currently 19-12, the Bulldogs finished fourth in the Mountain West with an 11-7 record and reached the semifinals of the Mountain West tournament for the sixth time in seven years. The Bulldogs are one of three Mountain West teams in the field along with New Mexico and Wyoming. Pacific enters the postseason with an 18-12 record and finished sixth in the West Coast Conference.
Separated by 125 miles, the two Central Valley schools have played 47 times in their history with Fresno State holding a 26-21 edge in the all-time series. The Bulldogs have won five of the last six games dating back to 2009.
This is year's selection into the WNIT marks Fresno State's eighth appearance in the tournament and 16th postseason appearance overall. This year will mark the Bulldogs' first appearance in the WNIT since 2016. The Bulldogs are 2-2 in the tournament since then with a 2-0 record at home.
Tickets for Wednesday's game will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday at noon through gobulldogs.com or call (559) 278-3647 for ticket information. Tickets will also be available through the Save Mart Center Box Office or online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets are $11 for reserved seats and $8 for general admission seating. Seniors and youth (5-17 yrs old) in the general admission areas are $6. Fresno State students are free of charge. Students may also bring a guest for free. Children 4 years of age or younger are also free of charge. Â

Women's Basketball season ticket holders can access their season ticket seat location online through gobulldogs.com or by calling the Bulldog Ticket Office beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday. Season tickets holders will have until noon on Wednesday to claim their seat locations. They can also place there order by calling (559) 278-3647.
The 2019 WNIT starts on March 20-22 with the tournament's first round and ends on April 6 with the championship game which will be aired on CBS Sports Network.
