LAS VEGAS – Playing its second Mountain West dual match on the road this week, Fresno State fell 4-0 to UNLV on Sunday at Fertitta Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs dropped to 7-9 on the year while the Rebels improved to 11-6.

DOUBLES
UNLV's No. 48-ranked duo of En-Pei Huang and Aiwen Zhu gave the Rebels the early advantage with a 6-3 win at No. 1. Despite the Bulldogs leading on Court 3, UNLV grabbed the doubles point with a 6-2 result on Court 2 from Connie Li and Samantha Li.

SINGLES
The Rebels carried their momentum over into singles play. Huang handed Shir Azran her first defeat of the year (9-1), on Court 3, 6-2, 6-0. Anna Bogoslavets made the score 3-0 in UNLV's favor as she defeated Deniza Marinkevica 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 4 spot.

No. 96-ranked Zhu ended the dual for the Rebels in the No. 1 match, defeating Jennifer Timotin, 6-0, 6-4.

Fresno State will return home next weekend to Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center. The Bulldogs will play their final four matches of the season in Fresno beginning with Cal Poly on Friday at 1:30 p.m. PT.
