Bulldog Bones
• At 11-6 in the Mountain West, Fresno State is locked into the No. 4 seed for next week's tournament.
• The Bulldogs are 6-2 on the road during conference play.
• The 'Dogs rank No. 5 in the NCAA in free-throw percentage, knocking them down at a clip of 77.9 percent.Â
• Averaging 71.2 points per game against DI opponents during the nonconference season, the Bulldogs are averaging 68.1 points per game in conference games .
• Fresno State's double-digit scoring trio has remained the same from a year ago: Aly Gamez (11.2 ppg), Maddi Utti (12.3 ppg) and Candice White (18.2 ppg).
• Reaching double figures in scoring in all but two games this season, Candice White leads the MW in scoring by 1.6 points per game. The senior has 12 20-point performances in 28 games, including eight in 17 conference games where she is averaging 18.9 points per game.
• White is one of 10 candidates for the Ann Meyers Drysdale Award which is given to the nation's top shooting guard.
• Do-it-all sophomore Maddi Utti ranks second in the league in field-goal percentage (.563), fourth in the league in steals (1.9 spg), fifth in blocks (1.1 bpg), sixth in rebounding (7.3 rpg) and 15th in scoring (12.3 ppg). Utti is coming off of one the best games of her career, scoring 26 points, swiping six steals and blocking four shots at Wyoming, and followed that up with her sixth double-double of the season against San Diego State.
Scouting San Jose State
• San Jose State enters Thursday's game with a 5-23 overall record and 4-13 in the Mountain West.
• Despite only five wins on the season, three of those have come in the last five games against Colorado State, Air Force and San Diego State.
• Of the Spartans five wins four of those have come at on their home court.
• Averaging 63.8 points per game, SJSU has scored at least 68 points in each of their five wins.
• San Jose State's offense centers around the 3-point line. SJSU leads the Mountain West and ranks No. 26 in the NCAA in 3-point attempts (722), No. 38 in 3-pointers made (234) and No. 29 in 3-pointers made per game (8.4).
• The Spartans' defensive strength is also on the perimeter as SJSU ranks second in the league in 3-point percentage defense (.304).
• Danae Marquez runs the point and ranks fourth in the MW and No. 64 in the NCAA in assists per game (4.8).
• Seven Spartans average between 7.3 and 9.3 points per game.
• Raziya Potter leads the team in scoring, and is the only Spartan over nine points per game, averaging 9.3.
• Inside, Cydni Lewis averages 8.1 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

• Fresno State holds the all-time series lead, 58-21.
• The Bulldogs are 1-4 in their last five trips to San Jose.
• Four of those five games have been decided by five points or less.
• It has been two years since the 'Dogs last traveled to San Jose State, a game in which Fresno State lost 77-68 on Feb. 15, 2017.
