- Fresno State has won four straight MW series, including two consecutive sweeps, and was won 11 of its last 13 MW games. The Bulldogs are 18-4 in their last 22 games overall dating back to Mar. 24.
- Hailey Dolcini was named MW Pitcher of the Week for the fourth time this season on Tuesday after not allowing an earned run and striking out 18 batters in 12 innings in two wins over New Mexico.
- The Bulldogs have won six of 12 total MW Pitcher of the Week awards this year. Hailey Dolcini's four wins are the most by a MW pitcher since former Bulldog Jill Compton had six POW honors in 2015.
- Fresno State leads the MW in opposing batting average (.228), shutouts (12), and sacrifice bunts (32). The 'Dogs are second in the league in six categories including on-base percentage (.407).
- McKenzie Wilson leads the 'Dogs in batting average (.396), stolen bases (31), runs (38), and hits (61). She leads the MW and is tied for 15th in Div. I in steals and is three shy of the program record.
- San Diego State is the lowest scoring team in the MW averaging just 3.29 runs per game and has been shut out 10 times this year. The 'Dogs have won five straight series vs. the Aztecs since 2014.
- San Diego State has been the lowest scoring team in the MW this season, averaging just 3.29 runs per game. The Aztecs are last in the MW in home runs (14) and slugging percentage (.346).
- SDSU has been shut out 10 times among 24 loses this year and has just three shutouts itself.
- The Aztecs have won MW series against San Jose State, Nevada, and New Mexico and earned a win at Colorado State last week but were swept by UNLV and lost 2-of-3 games at Boise State.
- Just two Aztecs are hitting above .300 this year, led by Taylor Adams at .356 with four homers and 21 RBIs. Marissa Moreno is 9-11 with a 3.41 ERA to lead a staff with a 4.13 team ERA.
- The squad is among the top base-stealing teams in the MW with 48 steals in 54 attempts.
- Fresno State won 2-of-3 games in its home series against the Aztecs last season and has a 66-14 edge in the all-time series. The 'Dogs have won five straight series vs. SDSU since 2014.
- Fresno State has swept consecutive MW series and has won four straight series overall. The 'Dogs have six straight MW wins and victories in 11 of their last 13 MW games.
- The Bulldogs have moved into sole possession of third place in the MW with an 11-7 league mark, trailing only Colorado State (17-4) and San Jose State (12-6) with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
- Colorado State, which plays its final league games this week in a series at Boise State, can clinch at least a share of the regular season MW title with one more win.
- The Bulldogs have won five straight road games as they play their final road contests of the regular season this week.
- Fresno State won the last two games in its series at UNLV and earned a three-game sweep at Utah State for its five straight road wins, hitting .329 with a 2.84 team ERA.

- Fresno State freshman outfielder McKenzie Wilson has been named one of 25 finalists for the Schutt Sports / NFCA Freshman of the Year award, presented annually to the top freshman in NCAA Div. I. She is the first Bulldog to ever make the list and one of two MW players honored this year.
- Wilson leads the MW and is tied for 15th in NCAA Div. I with 31 stolen bases this year, the third most steals in a season in program history and just three steals shy of the single-season program record of 34, set by Brenna Moss twice in 2013 and 2014.
- For the season Wilson also leads the team in batting average (.396), runs (39), hits (61), multi-hit games (18), and three-hit games (8). She is on a 16-game reached base streak and has had a hit in eight straight games.
- Fresno State is still undefeated at 28-0 this season when scoring first.
- The 'Dogs are 14-0 when leading after the first inning and 25-0 when leading after the second inning.
- The Bulldogs also have just two losses all season in games in which they held a lead.
- Bulldog pitchers have earned six of the 12 MW Pitcher of the Week honors this season.
- Sophomore Hailey Dolcini earned the honor for the fourth time this week after allowing just one unearned run and striking out 18 batters over 12.0 innings in two complete game wins over New Mexico.
- Freshman Danielle Lung has also received the award twice, and Dolcini is the first MW pitcher to receive four Pitcher of the Week honors in one season since former Bulldog Jill Compton got the accolade six times in 2015.
- Junior Schuylar Broussard has hit five home runs in the last seven games after hitting seven total homers in her first 138 collegiate games. She homered in each game in Fresno State's three-game sweep of Utah State, including a pair of two-run home runs in the finale, and went deep again on Sunday against New Mexico.
- Broussard has also reached base in 15 straight game, hitting .382 with seven extra-base hits, eight RBIs, and nine runs during the stretch.
- She also made a sensational diving catch for the final out in the Utah State finale to complete the series sweep. The play was No. 7 on the Sportscenter Top-10 that night and was shared by NCAA Softball on social media, garnering over 185,000 views.
- The 'Dogs are 18-4 in their last 22 games overall, including a seven-game win streak.
- Over the last 22 games the Bulldogs have hit .334 as a team while averaging 5.7 runs per game. The pitchers have combined for a 1.88 ERA and .208 opposing batting averaging with just 40 earned runs allowed in 149.0 innings.
- Eight Bulldog starters are hitting better than .300 in the stretch and pitchers Hailey Dolcini and Danielle Lung both have ERAs under 2.00.
- With its last win at Utah State, Fresno State secured a 30-win season for the 38th consecutive year. The program has had an overall winning record in all 41 seasons of its existence.
- In its storied history Fresno State has won 23 conference titles, 59 NCAA Regional games, and 93 total postseason games, reaching the Women's College World Series 12 times with four runner-up finishes and winning the 1998 NCAA title.
- Fresno State leads the MW with 12 shutouts this season.
- Hailey Dolcini has six complete game shutouts and has pitched in eight total shutouts to lead the team.
- The Bulldogs, who have been shutout offensively only five times this year, tallied seven shutouts all of last season and have recorded the most shutouts in a season since the 2015 team finished with 14.
- Rachel Minogue is the second-toughest player to strike out in NCAA Div. I, having struck out just twice in 147 official at-bats this year. North Carolina A&T's Zadaisha Waddell leads all qualified hitters with just one strikeout but in only 85 at-bats.
- Minogue previously ranked as the toughest player to strike out with just one K over her first 118 at-bats of the year before striking out for just the second time on April 13.
- Minogue went 31 games between strikeouts and has just two strikeouts this year after striking out just six times all last year.
- Minogue is also second on the team hitting .347 this year and is second with 35 RBIsÂ
- Fresno State is second in the MW and ranks 18th in NCAA Div. I with a .407 team on-base percentage this year.
- Five Bulldog starters have on-base percentages better than .400 while three have .450+ OBPs this year.
- As a team the Bulldogs finished fifth in NCAA Div. I with a .410 on-base percentage last year.
- Fresno State is 20-5 at home this season with three more home games to play. The 2019 'Dogs have equaled the most home wins since the 2012 team finished 24-8 at home.Â
- In 25 home game the Bulldogs have hit .336 with 33 stolen bases and a 1.46 team ERA, outscoring their opposition 133-44.
- Fresno State has had a winning home record in all 42 years of the program's existence and has won over 79% of its home games in the program's storied history.
- Bulldog senior center fielder Vanessa Hernandez leads the MW and is tied for 10th in NCAA Div. I with 18 doubles this year, the fifth most doubles in a season in program history.
- Hernandez is also tied for the team lead with 35 RBIs and has driven in multiple runs in 11 games this year with 12 multi-hit games.Â
- The Red Wave has averaged 1,043 fans per game this year. That attendance average is the highest among all 20 Div. I schools in California (including No. 2 UCLA), second highest among all non-Power-5 schools, and 16th most in all of NCAA Div. I.
- Fresno State's total of 26,079 fans this season is the 12th highest in the nation.
- No other MW team has averaged more than 480 fans per game this year, less than half of the 'Dogs average. Fresno State has averaged more than 1,000 fans per game for 26 consecutive seasons.
