'Dogs finish Bruin Diving Invite

LOS ANGELES – The Fresno State diving team competed in the Bruin Diving Invite over the weekend in the Spieker Aquactics Center. Madison DeRuyter, Irina Nikolaeva and Yuliya Tykha represented the Bulldogs on all three boards.

The meet will featured 87 divers from 17 different schools.

1-Meter
Nikolaeva's 12th place finish was the highlight of the weekend, after she scored a 266.00 in the prelims and a 289.00 in the finals.

3-Meter
Nikolaeva finished 18^th,scoring a 264.00 in the prelims and a 236.05 in the finals.

Platform
DeRuyter competed on the platform for the Bulldogs. She scored a 141.30 in the prelims, marking a season-high for the freshman.

Fresno State will go on the road to face UC Davis on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. PT.
