Fresno State football adds Michigan, USC to future nonconference games

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State football program revealed on Thursday agreements with three respective future opponents, starting in 2024.
The Bulldogs added road dates with two Power 5 opponents – Michigan in 2024 and USC in 2028 – and a home-and-home series with Georgia Southern, starting with the Sun Belt program traveling to Fresno in 2025.
Fresno State announced on Dec. 16 its nonconference schedules were finalized through 2022, with the additions of a home-and-home series with UConn and the addition of Cal Poly visiting Fresno to complete the next three years.
Further announcements regarding the Bulldogs' future schedules from 2023 and beyond will be forthcoming.

The additions of Michigan and Georgia Southern represent the first all-time meetings between the respective programs. The Bulldogs last met USC in 2019. The Trojans lead the all-time series against the Bulldogs, 4-1.
