MINNEAPOLIS – Fresno State had three Gold medal finishes on the final day of the 2020 Mountain West Championship. The Bulldogs finished sixth in the meet with 810 points.
"We had a great finish to the meet," head coach Jeanne Fleck said. "We couldn't have asked for more. We had four individual winners this week, the most we've ever had. "We broke records and earned medals. I'm so proud of Athena (Clayson) for winning Freshman of the Meet. She had an amazing week for us. We hoped to reach higher than sixth place, but we just didn't have the depth this year. It was competitive from start to finish. Our divers had a great week. I'm so proud of our team."
Athena Clayson was named the Freshman of the Meet. Senior Manuela Mendolicchio recorded the 13th-most points individually during the week, logging 75 total points.
