Quick look at the Bulldogs
Fresno State is 4-4 (2-1 Big 12) on the season after dropping its spring season opener to No. 1 Auburn last Saturday, 10-8. The Bulldogs picked up two MOP's versus the top-ranked squad as senior Paige Barton earned her third Reining MOP of the year, and freshman Annastasia Anstead picked up her first with a career-best 90-83 ride.

Scouting the Skyhawks

UT-Martin opens its spring season at Fresno State.
The Skyhawks are 2-3 this season with wins against South Dakota State and Delaware State.
The Skyhawks finished their fall slate with a 15-4 loss at then-No. 4 South Carolina.
UT-Martin checked in at No. 10 in the first team rankings of 2020.
The Skyhawks were ranked No. 8 in the Horsemanship event rankings, and No. 10 in the Reining event rankings that were announced on Nov. 26, 2019.

Last time versus UT-Martin

Fresno State earned a neutral site 8-7 win against the Skyhawks on Sept. 28, 2018 in the 2018 Willis Invitational.
Hana Bieling, Paige Barton, Lexee Padrick, Brooke Nelson, Nicole Campbell and Kameron Thorn all earned their points last time versus the Skyhawks.
The Bulldogs and Skyhawks have competed in a series that dates back to 2007.
The last time UT-Martin made the trip to Fresno State was Feb. 19, 2012, and the Bulldogs earned an 8-7 win.

Scouting the Aggies

UC Davis is 0-5 on the year in just their second season of competition.
The Aggies dropped their spring season opener to No. 1 Auburn on Jan. 31, 13-7.
The Aggies have not scored more than seven points this season.
UC Davis was not ranked in the latest NCEA team rankings, but it came in as the 10th-ranked Horsemanship squad in the first set of event rankings.

Last time versus UC Davis

The Bulldogs and Aggies finished the fall season with a matchup in Davis, Calif. on Nov. 15, 2019. Fresno State earned a 12-7 win over the Aggies.
Three Bulldog reining riders set career high scores last time against the Aggies - Bailey Alexander (75), Julianne Kelley (70.5) and Lexee Padrick (74).
The Western Bulldogs had their best outing of the season with a combined 8-1-1 mark against UC Davis.
Alexander earned her third reining MOP of the season.

Western 'Dogs

The Bulldog Western group has a combined 47-27-6 record on the year.
Fresno State's Reining squad is the second-ranked group in the first events rankings. The 'Dogs have a 23-13-4 record in the event.
The Bulldog Horsemanship corp was the fourth-ranked group in the first event rankings. The 'Dogs have a 24-14-2 record in the event.
Senior Nicole Campbell leads the Horsemanship 'Dogs with a 6-2 record and high score of 77.5.
Freshman Hannah Way is right there with Cambell with a 6-1 record and 76.5 season high score.
In the Reining, freshman Bailey Alexander leads the 'Dogs with a 6-1 record and a season-high 75.
Alexander and Barton tie with three Reining MOPs apiece.

Jumping Seat 'Dogs

The Bulldogs have had a breakthrough year in the Jumping Seat arenas this season. The squads have combined for a 46-50-2 mark.
The Fences 'Dogs have ridden for a 21-28 record. The Fences group was ranked No. 10 in the frist set of event rankings.
The Flat 'Dogs have recorded a 25-22-2 mark. The Flat Bulldogs were ranked No. 7 in the NCEA's first event rankings.
Senior Brooke Nelson leads the Flat with a 6-4 mark, while freshman Annastasia Anstead is close behind with a 5-4 record and team-high 90 score.
Sophomore Cecily Hayes leads the Fences with a 6-3 record in the event.
Senior Erica Rosinski and freshman Ana Bertozzi are near with 5-5 records in the event. Bertozzi recorded the highest Fences score of the season with an 86 against Texas A&M.
