The Breakdown

The 'Dogs finished fourth at the SMU Invite scoring 551 points.
Junior Athena Clayson won the 200 Back on Saturday in a season-best time of 1:56.94.

DALLAS - The Fresno State swimming and diving team wrapped up action at the SMU Invite on Saturday finishing fourth as a team at the Robson & Lindley Aquatics Center.

Clayson edged Hawaii's Anna Friedrich by 0.04 seconds in the 200 Back to claim the top spot in the event.

Other top performances on Saturday included a third-place showing for the 400 Free relay team of Clayson, Wiktoria Dabrowska, Sara Lucchini and Samarah Melia, Madison Caserio took fifth in the 1650 Free in 17:09.32 and Yuliya Tykha was the top diver on the platform placing sixth scoring 223.10.

The 'Dogs return home to host the Fresno State Invitational on Dec. 3-4 at the Fresno State Aquatics Center.
