'Dogs up one to No. 6

WACO, Texas - The National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced its new top 10 Dual Discipline team rankings, determined by the NCEA Selection Committee on Wednesday.

Fresno State (2-2) moved up one spot to the No. 6 team in the NCEA. The Bulldogs were the seventh-ranked team in the preseason rankings, but after defeating then-No. 9 South Carolina and then-No. 6 TCU, the 'Dogs have jumped a spot.

Oklahoma State moved into the No. 1 spot after picking up three wins over ranked teams so far this season. Auburn checks in at No. 2 and Baylor is No. 3. Texas A&M and Georgia round out the top five.

Fresno State, SMU, UC Davis, TCU and Delaware State close out the top 10.

The Bulldogs are set to host No. 1 Oklahoma State and No. 7 SMU this Friday and Saturday at the Student Horse Center.
