Khisiamova placed eighth on Sept. 17 at the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) National Collegiate Open Water Championship finishing the 5K (3.1 miles) in a time of 1:04:48.4.

- Fresno State returns to the pool on Friday hosting Nevada at 2 p.m. PT.
- This will be the 'Dogs lone home dual against a Mountain West opponent as they will see Colorado State, San Diego State and San Jose State on the road.

Bulldog Bones
- Fresno State brings back 22 returners and nine newcomers in 2021-22.
- Senior diver Yuliya Tykha earned Mountain West Diver of the Week honors on Oct. 12 after winning the 1-Meter springboard at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational scoring a career-best 284.50 in the event and also finished sixth on the 3-Meter.
- Junior diver Silvia Alessio won the 3-Meter Diving with a score of 284.45 while senior Darina Khisiamova finished second in the 1650 Free at the Chick-Fil-A Invitational.
- This is the second of six home events this season with the Fresno State Invitational set for early December followed by duals against CSU Bakersfield, Pepperdine & UC Davis.

- Nevada is 3-0 in dual action this season with wins over San Jose State, UC Davis & Cal State East Bay.
- The Wolf Pack are coming off a runner-up finish at the 2021 MW Championship.
- Senior Julia Adamczyk won three MW titles last season winning the 200 Fly, 200 IM & 400 medley relay.
- The Wolf Pack are led by sixth-year head coach Brendon Bray who has previously been a head coach at North Texas and an assistant coach at San Diego State & Washington.
