FRESNO, Calif. -Â The No. 6 Fresno State equestrian team returns home for its second tri-meet of the season at the Student Horse Center this weekend. Oklahoma State and SMU will also compete in a meet this weekend, completing two events on Friday and two on Saturday.

- The Bulldogs started the season as the No. 7 team in the NCEA, but made the jump to No. 6 this week.

- Fresno State has earned 10 Most Outstanding Performer honors this season.
- The Bulldogs are led in the horsemanship by Kameron Thorn who remains undefeated with a 3-0 record. Thorn has also won one MOP this year.Â
- The reining squad is led by senior Lexee Padrick who has a 3-0-1 record on the season. Padrick also has one MOP.
- Cecily Hayes leads the team in the fences with a 3-2 mark. Hayes has one MOP in the event this year.Â
- Sara Tuck leads the team in the flat with a 4-1 record this season. Tuck has earned one MOP on the year.
- 12 different Bulldogs have registered career-high scores in rides this season.
- The Bulldogs have 27 riders who return from the 2019-20 roster.
- Head coach Eric Hubbard enters his 10th season at the helm of the Fresno State equestrian program, having served as the program's interim head coach from 2013-15.
- Assistant coaches Mary Brown (western) and Caitlin Marshall (jumping seat) enter their fifth seasons with the 'Dogs.
- Oklahoma State was ranked the No. 1 team in Wednesday's NCEA rankings announcement.
- Oklahoma State is 3-0 this season with wins over Baylor, Auburn and TCU.
- When the teams competed, No. 4 Oklahoma State defeated No. 1 Auburn (Oct. 15). The win snapped a six-meet losing streak to the Tigers.Â
- Oklahoma State earned two Big 12 October Riders of the Month - Hope King (co-flat Rider of the Month) and Molly Mitchell (co-reining Rider of the Month).
- Friday will be Oklahoma State's first road meet since Oct. 8.
- Fresno State's last win against Oklahoma State was Oct. 25, 2019. Fresno State won big, snapping a five-meet losing streak with a 14-5 win in Fresno.
SCOUTING NO. 7 SMU
- SMU is 2-3 on the season with a 1-1 record in its ECAC meets on the year.Â
- SMU was ranked No. 3 in the preseason NCEA rankings, but dropped to No. 7 after suffering losses to then-No. 1 Auburn and then-No. 2 Georgia.
- SMU has earned wins over then-No. 6 TCU and Delaware State.
- Fresno State's last win against SMU was on Mar. 6, 2020. The Bulldogs won 11-8 in Fresno.
