FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldogs earned their first dual win of the season on Saturday defeating CSU Bakersfield, 176-124 at the Fresno State Aquatics Center.
The 'Dogs opened the afternoon with the 200 Medley relay team of Athena Clayson, Keren Wasserman, Sara Lucchini and Samarah Melia winning the event in 1:47.80.
Darina Khisiamova followed with a season-best time of 10:20.74 in the 1000 Free. Clayson was the 'Dogs lone dual winner of the day winning both the 100 Back (55.86) and 200 Back (2:01.54).
A pair of freshmen claimed the top spots in the 50 Free in Wiktoria Dabrowska (24.61) and Korrie Tengan in the 200 Breast (2:25.11) and the 'Dogs also finished atop both diving events with Yuliya Tykha winning the 1-Meter (296.18) and Silvia Alessio winning the 3-Meter (302.33).
The dual wrapped up with the Bulldogs winning the 400 freestyle relay with a team of Clayson, Dabrowska, Mackenzie Hutler & Melia winning in 3:31.65.
The 'Dogs open the new calendar year on Jan. 7Â taking on Mountain West opponents San Diego State and Colorado State in San Diego.

FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldogs earned their first dual win of the season on Saturday defeating CSU Bakersfield, 176-124 at the Fresno State Aquatics Center.
The 'Dogs opened the afternoon with the 200 Medley relay team of Athena Clayson, Keren Wasserman, Sara Lucchini and Samarah Melia winning the event in 1:47.80.
