Diamond 'Dogs alter schedule

The Fresno State baseball team has altered the beginning of its 2021 schedule.
FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State baseball team has altered the beginning of its 2021 schedule due to COVID-19 contact tracing within the baseball program.
Scheduled to open the season at UC Irvine on Friday, the Diamond 'Dogs series against the Anteaters has been postponed.
The 'Dogs scheduled home opener set for Feb. 23 against San Francisco has been moved on the road to USF on March 2 at 2 p.m. PT at Benedentti Diamond.
Also, the 'Dogs series with Mountain West foe San Jose State set to be hosted at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium on Feb. 27-28 has been postponed as the Spartan program has been put on a pause through March 27Â due to health and safety concerns stemming from COVID-19 and student-athlete conduct.
