'Dogs hit the road to Palm Desert

PALM DESERT, Calif. – The Fresno State men's golf team will compete in the 2021 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate on Friday through Sunday at Classic Club in Palm Desert.
The three-day, three-round event will begin on Friday morning. Live stats will be available at www.golfstat.com.
The 21-team field also currently includes 15 individuals for a total of 120 players in the event.
Tommy Stephenson enters the week in the No. 1 position for Fresno State after his sixth-place finish in the Spring 2021 Nick Watney Invitational.
Michael Cliff, who led the Bulldogs with a 70.71 scoring average last year, is set to make his 2021 season debut after being unable to compete in the Watney Invite earlier this month.
Matthew Sutherland, Matthew Manganello and Andrew Lee round out the Bulldogs' five-man squad for this weekend's competition.
