'Dogs fall to Broncos, 3-0

BOISE, Idaho – The Fresno State women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, falling to Boise State 3-0 on Friday afternoon. The Bulldogs fall to 3-1 on the season.
Fresno State was held without a goal for the first time this season. Senior Ele Avery led the team with two attempts. Redshirt freshman Briana O'Dell chalked her first start of the season in goal, recording a season-high five saves.
How It Happened
Boise State struck first with a breakaway goal in the sixth minute of the game. The Bulldogs would finish the half with five shots, but the Broncos' goalie made the saves. Boise State would take a 1-0 lead into the half.
The Broncos put the game away with two goals in the final 11 minutes of the game. Fresno State took five more shots in the second half but were unable to find the back of the net to make a comeback.
