FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State softball team clinched the series win over MW foe San Jose State after winning both games of Saturday's doubleheader. The Bulldogs defeated the Spartans 9-0 in a run rule victory and followed with a 4-0 win the second game.
Fresno State improves to 14-6 (2-0 MW) on the season.
Senior right-handed pitcher Hailey Dolcini took circle for game one. Dolcini posted her second no-hitter of the season, tallying 12 strikeouts to average two strikeouts and inning. This chalks the 76th no-hitter in program history.

Fresno State head coach Linda Garza:
"(Hailey) Dolcini was on fire and set the tone for us early in the first game," head coach Linda Garza said. "Our offense showed up in the first inning and that allowed us to dominate the first game. (Kelcey) Carrasco had a big day at the plate. She put our team in a great position and had two huge hits. Winning a double header isn't easy. We will remain hungry and focused on game three."
Up Next – Fresno State will finish the series against San Jose State tomorrow afternoon at 12 p.m. PT.
