Dolcini tabs MW Pitcher of the Week for the fourth consecutive week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Fresno State senior right-handed pitcher Hailey Dolcini was named the Mountain West Pitcher of the Week for the fourth consecutive week, announced by the league on Tuesday morning.
Dolcini tied the conference record for the most consecutive MW Pitcher of the Week awards. The only other player who has earned the accolade four straight weeks in MW history is former Bulldog Jill Compton in 2015.
The senior led Fresno State to a 3-0 weekend, earning the first series sweep of MW play.
Dolcini went 2-0 in the circle, logging two complete games and a no-hitter. She recorded the 76th no-hitter in program history.
The Ferndale, Calif. native pitched 13 innings, chalked 26 strikeouts, earned a 0.54 ERA and limited opposing batters to a .071 batting average. She allowed just three hits over the weekend.Â
