The Fresno State women’s tennis team improved to 12-5 on the season (5-2 in Mountain West play) with a 4-0 sweep of Utah State on Saturday.

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's tennis team defeated the Utah State Aggies 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.

Fresno State (12-5, 5-2 Mountain West) started the contest with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles slots to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles play, which featured straight-set victories by Deniza Marcinkevica, Carolina Piferi and A.C. Hummel to clinch the Bulldogs' second sweep against conference competition this season.
