The Fresno State women’s tennis team is set to host Utah State and Boise State this weekend at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's tennis team is scheduled to host the Utah State Aggies on Saturday and the Boise State Broncos on Sunday at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.

Both matches are expected to start at approximately 2 p.m. PT, or as soon as possible after the conclusion of the earlier neutral site match. Nevada will also compete in the four-team pod structure, which will have the Wolf Pack also play the Aggies and Broncos this weekend in Fresno.

Fresno State (11-5, 4-2 Mountain West) enters the weekend with a 5-1 home record this season and the Bulldogs are tied for third in the league standings.

Fresno State is 5-1 in home matches this season, with this weekend being the first (and only) MW home matches of the season for the Bulldogs.

Cristina Flaquer is 9-4 in singles play this season, which includes a 2-3 record at No. 2 singles.'
Ahmed (March 3) and Flaquer (March 24) both earned MW Player of the Week honors earlier this season.
A.C. Hummel is 9-3 in singles play this season (4-2 in Mountain West contests).
Carolina Piferi is 8-5 in singles play this season, including a 5-1 record at No. 5 singles.
Ella Husrefovic is 7-3 in singles play this season, including a 5-1 record at No. 6 singles (3-0 in Mountain West contests). Husrefovic enters the weekend on a five-match winning streak - all at No. 6 singles.
Dalia Ahmed and Deniza Marcinkevica are 8-2 when partnered in doubles this season with all of those matches at the No. 1 doubles slot.
Carlotta Nonnis Marzano and Carolina Piferi are 6-4 when partnered together and enter the weekend on a four-match winning streak in doubles play.
In singles, Fresno State is 56-29 overall (18-10 in Mountain West play), which includes an 11-4 record at No. 1 singles.
In doubles, Fresno State is 25-16 overall, which includes an 11-3 record at No. 1 doubles.
