The Bulldogs (34-9, 18-3 MW) defeated the Broncos (19-23, 10-11 MW) 3-1 to punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2017 and the 34th time in program history.
Hailey Dolcini pitched a complete game with seven strikeouts. The senior right-handed pitcher improved to 20-3 on the season. Junior Vanessa Hernandez led the Bulldogs at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBIs.

The Bulldogs extended their lead in the bottom of the fifth inning. Schuylar Broussard and Julianna Martinez opened the inning with back-to-back walks. Kaitlyn Jennings laid down a bunt to move the runners into scoring positions. She beat out the throw to first, loading the bases for Fresno State.
