Fresno State Athletics announces game themes for 2021 Bulldog Football season

FRESNO, Calif. - As kickoff of the 100th year of Bulldog Football approaches, Fresno State Athletics announced today its game themes for each of the six home football games this season. With the Red Wave welcomed back at full capacity, the introduction of Bulldog BLVD, presented by Toyota, as the new official pregame fan fest, and a revamped game day experience, the Biggest Party in the Valley is set to be bigger than ever this year.
As part of the new partnership with Fresno Street Eats and Fresno State Athletics, The Univision Stage, located in Bulldog BLVD, will include live music, entertainment, pre-game interviews, and additional fan engagement opportunities. Local musical acts scheduled to perform on the Univision Stage this season currently include: 40 Watt Hype, Teezzy Radio, Hard Times, The Box and other acts to be announced soon. Additional details for all six home games are provided below:
Aug. 28 - vs. UConn
Sept. 11 - vs Cal Poly
Sept. 24 - vs. UNLV
Oct. 23 - vs. Nevada
Nov. 6 - vs. Boise State
Nov. 13 - New Mexico

Fans have the opportunity to preview the excitement of Bulldog BLVD at a special Centennial Celebration on August 14th from 5-9 p.m. when Fresno State Athletics celebrates its 100th birthday with food trucks, live music, and the Bulldog soccer team hosting defending national champion Santa Clara at 7:00 p.m. in the Fresno State Soccer Stadium. The Centennial Celebration is open to the public and is free to attend.

Aug. 28 - vs. UConn
- The Biggest (Brunch) Party in the Valley
- Fresno State kicks off the 2021 campaign with the first-ever morning game at Bulldog Stadium with an 11 a.m. kickoff. The Red Wave is set to enjoy the first home game with fans in attendance since 2019.
- Bulldog BLVD, presented by Toyota, to include special brunch themed food items from Fresno Street Eats food trucks and exciting live music and entertainment on the Univision Stage to welcome the 'Dogs back in style.
Sept. 11 - vs Cal Poly
- Heroes Night
- On the 20th anniversary of 9/11, Fresno State Athletics will remember the lives lost in the attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
- Additionally, Fresno State Athletics will honor all first responders, and active duty military members and veterans of all branches.
- Bulldog BLVD, presented by Toyota, to include food trucks from Fresno Street Eats and exciting live music and entertainment on the Univision Stage, with additional performances by The Sounds of Freedom. Display vehicles from local police, fire, other first responder organizations will be on hand for fans of all ages to experience.
Sept. 24 - vs. UNLV
- Bulldog Fiesta
- Celebrate the Valley's Hispanic communities with a Hispanic Heritage Month party at Bulldog Stadium.
- Bulldog BLVD, presented by Toyota, to include Mexican themed food items from Fresno Street Eats food trucks and exciting live music and entertainment on the Univision Stage, with additional performances by traditional Mexican banda and mariachi bands.
Oct. 23 - vs. Nevada
- Homecoming
- Fresno State welcomes back alumni and friends of all ages for a homecoming celebration.
- Bulldog BLVD, presented by Toyota, to include food trucks from Fresno Street Eats and exciting live music and entertainment on the Univision Stage, with additional appearances from select former Bulldog student-athletes. The Club Red tailgate will be the place to be for all alumni student-athletes.
Nov. 6 - vs. Boise State
- Green V Fest
- As the 'Dogs defend the Valley against rival Boise State on the field, Fresno State Athletics will celebrate all that makes the iconic Green V so special by highlighting the Valley's robust agriculture industry.
- Fans can celebrate Valley viticulture with a pregame wine fest featuring regional wineries in partnership with the San Joaquin Valley Winegrowers Association.
- Bulldog BLVD, presented by Toyota, to include food trucks from Fresno Street Eats and exciting live music and entertainment on the Univision Stage.
Nov. 13 - New Mexico
- Kids Day
- An exciting day for Valley kids of all ages to enjoy the pageantry of Fresno State Athletics, including unique opportunities for local youth organizations and schools to attend the game.
- A pregame Senior Day ceremony to honor Bulldog Football's decorated senior class will take place.
- Bulldog BLVD, presented by Toyota, to include food trucks from Fresno Street Eats and exciting live music and entertainment on the Univision Stage. Additionally, a variety of kids characters will be in attendance in the Kids Zone.
