- The 'Dogs are 3-1 in dual action this season with home wins over CSU Bakersfield, Pepperdine & UC Davis.
- Julia Matney was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week on Tuesday after winning the 50 Free & 100 Fly vs. UC Davis.
- The 'Dogs set 10 season-best times/marks in a 175-125 win over UC Davis last Saturday.
- The Bulldogs beat San Jose State, 169-113 at home last season.
- The 'Dogs return to the pool at the 2022 Mountain West Championships in College Station, Texas on Feb. 16-19.

A look at the Spartans
- The Spartans are 0-3 in dual action this season with losses to Nevada, Stanford and Pacific.
- San Jose State makes its return to the pool for the first time since taking fifth at the Mizzou Invite, Nov. 17-19.
- This will be the Spartans' second and final home dual of the season after opening the season falling to Nevada in San Jose.
- SJSU finished eighth at the MW Championships last season.
- Sage Hopkins is in his 16th season as head coach of the Spartans.
