Bulldogs stumble against Tigers

FRESNO, Calif. - The No. 9 Fresno State equestrian team fell 16-2 to No. 5 Auburn at the Student Horse Center on Saturday morning. The Bulldogs earned one Most Outstanding Performer honor by senior Hannah Buijs in the horsemanship.

How It Happened
Auburn got out to a 9-1 lead through the first two events. The lone Bulldog point in the opening half was earned by senior Hannah Buijs in the horsemanship, outsourcing her opponent with a season-high 76.5-73 ride.

Buijs won the first point for the Bulldogs in the event and Elle Martin won the second with a 60-58 ride in the flat.
