'Dogs come up short at No. 5 TCU

Fresno State fell at No. 5 TCU, 15-5
FORT WORTH, Texas - The No. 8 Fresno State equestrian team fell 15-5 at No. 5 TCU on Friday morning. The Bulldogs have a quick turnaround, traveling to Stillwater, Okla. to take on No. 1 Oklahoma State tomorrow.

The Bulldogs were swept in the fences to start off the meet, and were unable to climb back. The 'Dogs won two points in the reining as Addison Welman and Bailey Alexander won the first points in the meet. Welman secured her first win of the season with a 68.5-64 win. Alexander won her fourth-straight matchup with a 70-66.5 win.

Taylor Holstead picked up the lone Bulldog point in the flat, outscoring her opponent 82-79.

In the horsemanship, Emily Maul and Alex Krebs secured the points for the Bulldogs. Krebs won her second point of the season with a 74-73.5 edging. Maul won her second-straight point with a 75.5-75 defeat of her opponent.
