For the fourth consecutive week, the Fresno State women's tennis team is ranked nationally in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings sponsored by Tennis-Point, the organization announced on Wednesday. Â Fresno State, who has been ranked as high as No. 51 nationally this season, owns an eight-match home winning streak dating back to February 2021 (seven straight on campus). Â Fresno State was also ranked No. 59 (March 2) and No. 66 (March 9).

- No. 65 Fresno State hosts Fresno Pacific on Friday at 1 p.m. PT at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center before opening MW play with four home matches, starting March 26 versus Wyoming.
- Fresno State (9-3) checked in at No. 65 this week – again the highest-ranked team in the Mountain West for the fourth straight week in Division I.

A LOOK BACK AT 2021
- Fresno State finished the spring 2021 season ranked in the Top 10 of the ITA Northwest Region rankings.
- In 2021, Fresno State went 15-5 overall with an 8-2 record in Mountain West play, which tied for the most overall and conference victories by any MW team in 2021.
- As a team in 2021, Fresno State won 11 of its last 13 matches and was a perfect 5-0 in neutral site contests.
- As a team, in singles, Fresno State finished 69-32 overall (31-13 in MW play), which included a 14-4 record at No. 1 singles, while in doubles, the Bulldogs were 32-20 overall, which included a 15-3 record at No. 1 doubles.
- Fresno State was one of two MW programs to play 20 matches during the 2021 spring season.
- Denise Dy, who played collegiately at Washington and coached at Arizona, Washington and Iowa, is the Bulldogs' 11th head coach and earned the third-best opening season (15-5, .750) in program history.
