- Fresno State Athletics is celebrating its centennial year and the 2022 women's tennis season is the 44th season in program history (inaugural season 1978-79).
- Fresno State head coach Denise Dy is now in her second season back home in the Golden State.
- The Bulldogs were ranked No. 68 in the latest ITA Collegiate Tennis Division I Women's Team Rankings, which were released on March 23, 2022 - one of two MW teams (San Diego State) ranked in the ITA's Top 75.
- No. 68 Fresno State opens Mountain West play by hosting Wyoming (March 26) and Colorado State (March 27) this weekend at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center.
- No. 68 Fresno State has won nine straight home matches dating back to February 2021 (eight at Wathen).
- No. 68 Fresno State enters MW play having won its last two matches and three of its last four overall.
- Fresno State is 7-1 in Mountain West openers and 7-1 in MW home openers since joining in the league in 2012.

- The Bulldogs were ranked No. 10 in the latest available ITA Northwest Region rankings.
- Fresno State's Pang Jittakoat enters the weekend 10-3 in singles matches this season (8-3 at No. 1 singles) and owning a four-match singles winning streak (all four in straight sets at the top position).
- Fresno State's Matilde Magrini enters the weekend 7-4 in singles matches this season (7-3 at No. 2 singles).
- Fresno State's Cristina Flaquer enters the weekend 8-3 in singles matches this season (4-2 at No. 3 singles).
- Fresno State's Carolina Piferi enters the weekend on a six-match singles winning streak and sports an 8-1 record in singles (5-0 at No. 6 singles).  Piferi has also played at No. 4 singles (1-0) & No. 5 singles (2-1).
