Bulldog head coach Jeff Tedford announces roster additions
FRESNO, Calif. - With summer workouts officially underway, the Fresno State football team is moving in full force towards kickoff of the 2022 season. While the players have been working and training during the winter and spring offseason, the coaching staff has been continuously hard at work on the recruiting front.

Season ticket information
The 2022 schedule is highlighted by six home dates, kicking off the season with Cal Poly (Sept. 1) and Oregon State (Sept. 10). Fresno State opens its home Mountain West slate with hosting San Jose State (Oct. 15). San Diego State (Oct. 29), Hawai'i (Nov. 5) and Wyoming (Nov. 25) round out the home schedule.

A look at Bakare:
- Joins the Fresno State football team as a transfer running back from Missouri.
- Spent four seasons with Mizzou (2018-21).
- Bakare made an immediate impact at Missouri, playing in eight games as a true freshman in 2018, getting reps on offense and on special teams.
- Appeared in 32 career games with the Tigers.
- Totaled 19 carries for 90 yards and one touchdown in his career.
- Earned SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition in two years

A look at Spomer:
- Joins the Fresno State football team as a transfer offensive lineman from Diablo Valley Junior College
- Spomer was an all-conference selection as an offensive lineman in 2021
- Was one of two offensive linemen to earn all-conference honors on the team last season
- Helped Diablo Valley to a winning 6-5 record in 2021
- Behind protection of Spomer, the Diablo Valley offense put up an average of 35.0 points per game with over 4,800 yards of total offense on the year
- The Diablo Valley offense averaged 155.2 rushing yards per game and 282.4 passing yards per game last season
A look at Pakola:
- Joins the Fresno State football team as a transfer defensive lineman from Stanford.
- Spent the 2019-20 seasons with the Cardinal, but was not active on a roster in 2021. Pakola will come to Fresno State as a sophomore with three seasons of eligibility remaining.
- Played in four career games at Stanford, recording three tackles
- Prepped at St. Francis High School as a teammate with current Bulldogs Evan Williams (DB) and Mose Vavao (OL)
- Was listed as a 4-star recruit by Rivals, ESPN, PrepStar and 247Sports
- 2018 All-Bay Area Defensive Player of the Year, 2018 WCAL Most Valuable Outside Linebacker, 2018 all-USA California second team, 2018 all-league first team, 2018 league champions
- 12 sacks, one interception, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery as a senior
- 2017 all-Bay Area second team

A look at Isaia:
- Joins the Fresno State football team as a transfer offensive lineman from Michigan State
- Spent four seasons at Michigan State (2018-21). Isaia will have two years of eligibility remaining
- He played in 24 career games with the Spartans, primarily as a member of the special teams unit
- Saw the most action in his career during the 2021 season, playing all 13 games that season
- Isaia is a native of Las Vegas, Nev. and a graduate of Bishop Gorman HS.
- With Bishop Gorman, he was a consensus No. 1 offensive lineman in the state of Nevada
- Listed as a Top 10 player in the state of Nevada following his high school career

A look at Davis:
- Rated a 3-star recruit by 247Sports
- Played both sides of the ball at nearby Bullard High School (Fresno, Calif.)
- As a senior at Bullard, Davis had 84 tackles (49 solo), 4.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, 6 interceptions for a total of 153 return yards, 1 interception returned for a touchdown, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 passes defended
- In his three year varsity career (29 games played), Davis totaled 110 tackles (61 solo), 8 interceptions for 201 total return yards, and 3 forced fumbles
- As an offensive player, Davis had over 1,200 yards receiving with 19 total touchdowns (17 receiving) in his career
- Davis was also a member of the special teams unit at Bullard HS, contributing as a kickoff returner
- At the completion of his senior season, Davis was awarded the Most Outstanding Defensive Back award by Bullard HS. He also earned recognition for being a two-way player
- Was also a track athlete at Bullard High School
- Davis was a two-way player at Bullard High School, but is expected to be added to the Bulldogs' defensive back room.
