SPOKANE, Wash. – In Fresno State's first meet since returning from winter break, the Bulldogs left Spokane with four wins or runner-up finishes this week. Queen Okoh earned the squad's lone win in the triple jump at the Cougar Classic.
Earning her first career win indoors, Okoh had a mark of 12.02m/39-5.25. Teammate Rachela Pace took second at 11.75m/38-6.75.
Strong in the throws, the Bulldogs claimed four of the top six spots in the weight throw and three of the top five spots in the shot put. Cierra Jackson led the group in both events earning a pair of runner-up finishes behind throwers from the Pac-12. Both marks weren't too far off her personal bests and she landed marks of 19.21m/63-9 in the weight and 15.12m/49-7.25 in the shot.
