'Dogs set for Clash at Boulder Creek

FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State women's golf team will compete in The Clash at Boulder Creek this weekend, the final tournament of the fall season for the Bulldogs. The competition which is hosted by Northern Arizona, will take place at the Par 72, 6,334-yard Boulder Creek CC.
THE FIELD
The 20-team field includes Boise State, Cal State Bakersfield, Fresno State, Idaho, Illinois State, Long Beach State, Montana State, North Dakota, Northern Colorado, SDSU, San Francisco, Seattle, Southern Utah, UC Irvine, UC Riverside, UNLV, UTEP, UTRGV and Weber State.

LAST TIME OUT
The Fresno State women's golf team closed the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational in ninth place, carding a 24-over 888.
The Bulldogs posted their best round of the tournament on the final day, chalking a 7-over 295 through the final 18 holes.
Junior Jinyu Wu led the team through the invitational, shooting under par in two of three rounds, carding a 1-under 215. She chalked a 2-under 70 in the third round, with two birdies down the stretch. Wu finished the tournament tied for fifth.
HOT START
At the first tournament of the season, Fresno State recorded a new program low two-round total of 15-under par 561 at the Timpanogos Collegiate Classic in Provo.
The Bulldogs tied the program record for the lowest score in a 54-hole tournament with a 12-under par 852.
Sophomore Katelyn Lehigh captured the 19th medalist honor in program history, winning the Timpangos Collegiate Invitational. Lehigh set a new program record for the lowest three-round total, carding an overall score of 15-under par 201.
Transfer Jinyu Wu recorded a seventh-place finish in her first tournament as a Bulldog, scoring a 73 on day three for a 7-under 209 total. Wu's score tied the program's fifth-lowest three-round total.
NEW KIDS ON THE COURSE
Fresno State only returned two players from last season, adding six newcomers.
The Bulldogs added three transfers to the roster in Jiye Ham (Washington State), Jinyu Wu (Washington State) and Meredith McDougal (Westmont College). Along with three freshmen in Amelia Garibaldi, Sophia Yi-Ju Chen and Vunnisa Vu.
