Pair of 'Dogs garner All-MW honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced the 2023 Indoor Track & Field All-Conference team on Wednesday, which is composed of the top three finishers in each individual event and top three relays teams in each event that MW Championships. Fresno State's Madison Hutton (pentathlon) and Cierra Jackson (shot put) earned honors after the championship.
Hutton placed third in the pentathlon after finishing fourth a season ago. The sophomore scored a career-best 3,984 points, the second-most in program history. Hutton earned two personal bests during the competition, which included the No. 2 mark in the high jump in Fresno State's history (1.73m/5-8).
The following day, Jackson earned her second straight silver medal in the weight throw. The sophomore landed a career-long mark of 19.82m/65-0 on her fourth attempt of the competition. It ranks No. 3 in program history. Jackson went on to finish with a team-high 13 points for the second consecutive year.
