Lynch selected to All-Mountain West Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A week after qualifying for regionals, Fresno State's Harriet Lynch was selected All-Mountain West Second Team, the conference announced Thursday afternoon. It is the second All-MW honor of the senior's career after earning first team accolades in 2020.
Lynch is the fourth Bulldog to earn multiple All-MW honors in their career. She joins Gudrun Bjorgvinsdottir (2014, 2017), Madchen Ly (2013, 2014, 2015) and Brigitte Thibault (2019, 2020, 2021).
In 11 tournaments this year, Lynch posted a 73.27 scoring average. She tied for the most Top-5 finishes in the MW this season with five, with all of those coming between second and fourth. She placed inside the Top 15 at seven tournaments.
Lynch earned the highest finish of her career at the Fresno State Classic, placing second en route to helping the Bulldogs claim their first team title since 2016.
In her final Mountain West Championship, the Essex, England product placed third at the event, her highest finish at the conference tournament. She is the first Bulldog to place in the Top 11 in each MW Championship competed in (2019 – T-9th, 2021 – 11th, 2022 – T-7th, 2023 – T-3rd).
Last week, Lynch became then seventh Bulldog to earn a selection as an individual to a NCAA regional.
