PHOENIX, Ariz.-- Fresno State women's tennis team wraps up their final match in Arizona against Grand Canyon.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
Starting off the weekend in Tempe, 'Dogs faced off against a tough team in the Sun Devils on Saturday. ASU earned a clean sweep against the Bulldogs in both singles and doubles matches, 7-0.Â
Bulldogs saw an extended weekend in Phoenix as Sunday's match against the Lopes was delayed and then postponed due to severe rain. Monday morning's matchup saw another short weather delay, leaving only three playable courts. 'Dogs got the match started with No. 1-3 singles, No. 4-6 would then follow. Doubles matches would only then be played on a 3-3 tie in singles. Bulldogs saw another unfortunate sweep by their opponent, with the Lopes closing in early in singles matches.Â
