FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State baseball team fell in their sixth straight loss in a 15-2 game against CSUN at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Matador offense struck early, scoring four runs in the first inning with a two-run homer, RBI double and RBI single. Back-to-back RBI singles added a pair of runs to their score in the second.

CSUN and Fresno State both scored one in the third with the Matadors hitting an RBI single and Tommy Hopfe driving in Eddie Saldivar on an RBI double.

Six runs were scored on four hits for the Matadors in the fourth, including their second home run of the night.

Bobby Blandford hit a home run of his own in the fifth to add a solo run for the 'Dogs.

The Matadors hit two RBI doubles to extend their lead to 15-2 over the Bulldogs in the seventh. CSUN did not allow another hit or run for the Bulldogs and snagged the 15-2 victory.
