Piferi earns All-MW Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced the 2024 Women's Tennis All-Conference Team and individual honors on Tuesday evening as voted on by the league's 11 head coaches.
Carolina Piferi is the lone Bulldog to be named with conference honors this season. The senior has had quite a season earning her 18th singles win and extending her winning streak to ten matches, while going undefeated in conference play. Piferi was also tabbed as the Mountain West Player of the week in mid-Feburary after a stellar week going 3-0 individually against CSU Fullerton, then No. 39Â BYU and Cal Poly. Piferi has played a majority of the season at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles with partner Eliza Dunbar.
The senior looks to continue her success on the court this week as Mountain West Championships are underway in Las Vegas. Â
