Marr earns second MW Freshman of the Week honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Mountain West announced their weekly selections on Monday afternoon with Fresno State's Ava Marr being tabbed the Old Trapper MW Freshman of the Week. Marr earns her second weekly honor this season after being named on Nov. 10, 2025.
FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Guard, Brier, Washington/Archbishop Murphy HS
- Helped the Bulldogs to a pair of neutral site wins over New Mexico State (64-49) and Louisiana-Lafayette (61-48).
- Averaged seven points, 1.5 rebounds, one assist and one steal per game. Shot 45.5 percent from the floor and 44.4 percent from three.
- Against the Aggies, tallied five points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal.
- Against the Ragin' Cajuns, recorded nine points, one assist and one steal.
- Ava Marr earns her second weekly honor this season
- Marr is the first Freshman to receive the weekly honor more than once this season
- Marr is the only Bulldog to be named thus far this season
- The Washington native is the fourth player to earn a Freshman weekly honor at Fresno State (Stricklin, Sta. Maria, Fox)
