2026 schedule released

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State head water polo coach Natalie Benson announced the Bulldogs' 2026 slate on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' schedule is again highlighted by the home-hosted Polopalooza tournament to start the year, with participation in additional major west coast tournaments.

The Bulldogs start the season with the Polopalooza on January 16-18. Fresno State will face Michigan, Indiana, UC Irvine and San Jose State in its home event. Other teams in attendance include Cal and Hawai'i.

From there, the Bulldogs head to the Cal Cup January 24-25 and the ASU Invitational February 6-8. Fresno State makes its return to the Kalbus Invite on February 13-15 in Irvine, Calif.

The Bulldogs return home to host Fresno Pacific on Feb. 20, then are on the road for four games at Santa Clara (Feb. 21), at LMU (Feb. 28), at Azusa Pacific (Mar. 14) and at UCLA (Mar. 15).

Fresno State closes out the regular season with a three-game homestand, hosting CBU (Mar. 20), San Diego State (Mar. 22) and Pacific (Mar. 28).

Fresno State hosts the Golden Coast Conference Championship this season for the first time since 2019. Fresno State has won four GCC tournament titles in its short program history, and looks for its fifth win in the last six seasons.

The Bulldogs are led by head coach Natalie Benson, who enters her ninth season at the helm and has led the Bulldogs to a 114-79 overall record.
