Bulldogs announce 2026 schedule

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State softball team and head coach Charlotte Morgan announced the 2026 spring schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
The schedule includes 24 home contests, four tournaments and highlighted matchups against Washington, Stanford, GCU, and marquee conference series.
Morgan enters her first year at the helm with the Bulldogs. Morgan will open her first year with the Fresno State Tournament that features Idaho State and SIUE.
The season begins Feb. 6 as the 'Dogs host the Fresno State Tournament, kicking off four straight tournament weekends before diving into Mountain West play in mid-March. Following opening weekend, Fresno State will travel to compete in three away tournaments: the Mary Nutter Classic (Feb 19-21), the Pacific Invitational (Feb. 27-28), and the Silicon Valley Classic (Mar. 7-8).
Fresno State's schedule features four nonconference matchups outside of tournament play, as the 'Dogs will host Washington (Feb. 13-14), GCU (April 8), and Stanford (April 15), while traveling south down the 99 to face CSU Bakersfield (March 31).
The Bulldogs will begin conference play at home vs. Utah State (March 13-15) before traveling the following weekend to face Boise State (March 20-22). Fresno State will host three more conference opponents including UNLV (March 27-29), Colorado State (April 11-12), and San Diego State (April 30-May 2), while also making trips to San Jose State (April 2-4), New Mexico (April 17-19), and Nevada (April 24-26).
