Lopicic clinches win for Bulldogs in Northridge

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The Fresno State women's tennis team worked their way back into the win column in a tight win over CSUN on Sunday morning at Matador Tennis Complex. 4-3.

How it happened
CSUN got to the lead first after clinching the doubles point. Eliza Dunbar and Paulina Montiel dropped first, six games to three. CSUN took the point from the top doubles flight defeating Andjela Lopicic and Klara Vukicvic, 6-2.

Fresno State fought back strong in singles to take the win. The Matadors held a 2-0 lead with the first singles win. All four Bulldogs won in two sets. Sofia Pizzoni and Matilde Magrini tied it up with wins at court two and one, respectively. CSUN had one more singles match before Vukicevic and Lopicic secured the win.

Up next: Fresno State closes out the three match stretch with a neutral meeting against North Texas at Matador Tennis Complex on Monday, Mar. 10 at 12 .m. PT. There will be no live stats available for the neutral match.
