Jacobs named MW All-Tournament Team

LAS VEGAS - Fresno State's Mia Jacobs was named to the MW All-Tournament Team announced by the conference following the women's championship game on Wednesday night. Jacobs earns her first MW All-Tournament team recognition of her career. The junior is also the first for the Bulldogs in the last three seasons, 2021 was the last All-Tournament Team recognition with Haley Cavinder and Aly Gamez.Â
Jacobs marked starts in all three tournament games this season, averaging 18.0 points and 12.0 rebounds. The six-foot-two forward led the team in rebounds in all three contests and in scoring against Colorado State and Wyoming. Jacobs opened the conference with a All-MW postseason accolade.Â
