Fresno State set to host ITA Summer Series in June

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's tennis team is set to host the second annual ITA Summer Series powered by WTN in mid-june at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Complex. The series is a weekly open regional event hosted on college campuses across the country, with Fresno State hosting in the series' third week.Â
The ITA Summer Series is offering two pathways for summer play, providing an excellent opportunity for level-based competitive match play during the summer. The Series is held across the country over six weeks, culminating in the National Summer Championships in August.
Fresno State is one of ten host sites for the Summer Series' third week along with Allegheny, Biola, Elon, Grand Valley State, Louisville, Washington College, Wichita State and Tyler JC & UT Tyler. Fresno State will host select schools from June 27-29 at Spalding G. Wathen with singles and doubles play.Â
The series features eight to ten tournaments per week with draws flighted based on player WTN. Players will be able to earn points and prize money.Â
