FRESNO, Calif. - Following the completion of the 2025 NFL Draft on Saturday, which saw no Fresno State football players' names called, a handful of Bulldogs signed to the league as undrafted free agents.
Â
Safety Dean Clark signed with the New York Jets. Clark transferred to Fresno State from Kent State ahead of the 2023 season. In his two years as a Bulldog, he started in all 24 games he was available for, missing only two in the span. Clark was an honorable mention All-Mountain West pick in 2024. In his two years with Fresno State, he totaled 146 tackles, 4.5 TFL and four interceptions. Clark also excelled in the classroom, earning multiple academic accolades in his two seasons at Fresno State.
Â
Wide receiver Mac Dalena signed with the Kansas City Chiefs. Dalena became Fresno State's first 1,000 yard receiver since 2022, finishing with 64 receptions for 1,065 yards receiving and eight touchdowns as a senior in 2024. The Fresno native was a first team All-MW receiver and a second team All-American by HERO Sports. He finished 17th in the FBS in receiving yards, and second in the Mountain West. Dalena was a Bulldog from 2020-24, contributing on offense and special teams throughout his career.
Â
Linebacker Tuasivi Nomura signed with the Carolina Panthers. Nomura spent two seasons with the Bulldogs, transferring from USC ahead of the 2023 season. After battling injuries to start the 2023 campaign, he went on to appear in each game he was available for and earned 14 starts. In 2024, he started all 13 games and led the team with 110 total tackles, the most by a Bulldog since 2019. Nomura was a first team All-Mountain West linebacker in 2024.
Â
Some former Bulldogs, who were on the Fresno State roster for at least three seasons but finished their collegiate careers at other schools, also signed free agent deals following the draft: Tre Watson, Kansas City Chiefs (Bulldog TE from 2021-23); Josh Kelly, Dallas Cowboys (Bulldog WR from 2019-22); Bralyn Lux, Cincinnati Bengals (Bulldog CB from 2019-22); Ben Wooldridge, New England Patriots (Bulldog QB from 2018-20).
More undrafted free agent signings and camp invite news is expected to come in the following days.
