LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Fresno State junior pitcher Serayah Neiss was named to the 2025 National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Pacific Region Third Team, announced on Thursday afternoon.
The NFCA has named 380 student-athletes from 146 programs to the 2025 Division I All-Region teams. Honoring top softball players across 10 regions, the awards include first, second, and third-team selections. NFCA member coaches nominated and voted on up to eight players each. All honorees are now eligible for All-America recognition.
Neiss, who also earned Mountain West Pitcher of the Year and All-Mountain West First Team honors, finished the season with a 20-6 record, a 2.03 ERA, eight complete games, two saves and 123 strikeouts in 179.2 innings. She became the first Fresno State pitcher to record 20 wins since Hailey Dolcini in 2021 (22 wins).
In MW play, she led the conference with 10 wins in the circle, finishing with a perfect 10-0 record. She became the first Fresno State pitcher to earn MW Pitcher of the Year honors while going undefeated in conference play. The junior posted a 1.97 ERA, tossed 74.2 innings, and recorded 50 strikeouts, ranking among the top four in the conference in all three categories.
This is Neiss' first NFCA All-Region recognition in her career as a Bulldog.
With the selection, Fresno State has had at least one NFCA All-Region selection in 10 of the past 11 awarded seasons.
